What is micro machines?

Micro Machines are a line of miniature toy cars and vehicles that were first produced by the toy company Galoob in the late 1980s. The toys were a huge hit due to their small size, detailed designs, and wide range of vehicles available. Each Micro Machine was typically around 1 inch in length and could be collected, traded, and played with in various ways.

Micro Machines became popular for their realistic designs, with vehicles ranging from cars and trucks to airplanes and military vehicles. The toys were also known for their playsets, which were miniature versions of real-world locations such as airports, race tracks, and construction sites.

In addition to the traditional vehicles and playsets, Micro Machines also released themed sets based on popular movies and TV shows, such as Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and James Bond. These sets were highly sought after by collectors and fans of the franchises.

In 1998, Galoob was acquired by Hasbro, who continued to produce Micro Machines for several years before eventually discontinuing the line. However, in recent years, there has been a resurgence of interest in Micro Machines, with some collectors seeking out vintage toys and new companies releasing updated versions of the classic toys.
